Will we know each other then?

Will we know each other then? bloomed from frustrations with the impermanence of lived experience and the recurrent efforts of memory and photography to supplement what is lost. Many of the moments salvaged in the work either contained a profound beauty or disappointing complexity to me at one point, and I find it hard to let them dissipate without intervention. The struggle of Sisyphus is mirrored in the structure of this accordion book which, when fully opened, takes the shape of a circle. I re-experience my memories repeatedly with images and words flickering in my mind. The ornately collaged pages of this book nestle in photographs, scanned objects, and isolated details which recur throughout to force the viewer into this cyclical experience of memory. Nothing in the work appears in the same way twice just as my memories are altered with each new experience.
